Board Member Positions Available!

Take advantage! The Sociology Club is in need of Board Members and is currently seeking applicants. Feel like you’re a good match? Apply! Still not sure whether to apply or not? Apply either way!

Open positions and their descriptions:

• 1. Sociology Club Treasurer

The Treasurer shall handle all financial affairs, and budgeting of the organization and report all matters to the President. Maintain all accounting records, and prepare monthly financial reports. Collect and deposit all dues and fees. Maintain bank accounts in the organization's name. The Treasurer is also responsible for fundraising planning and consulting with the Marketing member for advise.

• 2. Photojournalist I

The Photojournalist I is responsible for recording the club's milestones throughout the year. Taking photos at events and faculty.

• 3. Photojournalist II

The Photojournalist is responsible for working alongside the main photographer, to display the club's events on the display board in the Sociology department as well as through posters and the club's blog.

• 4. Community Organizer

The Community Organizer is responsible for researching new volunteer opportunities in our surrounding communities and planning it out. Must also compile a list of club members who will attend and consult the final plan with the President and Vice President.

• 5. Marketing Team Members

The Marketing team member is responsible for providing support and carrying out any tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager. Participate in ways to help fundraise and promote the club awareness.

All members are encouraged to be active and attend all meetings. Members are also encouraged to participate in the planning of activities to make it functional for all the members. Members drive this club and all contributions are highly valued!
